We were given a brief to create our own concept based off themes we saw at the SS19 London Fashion Week Men's show. I had interned for Daniel w. Fletcher, who had based the show on American pshyco, even helping to make the set which was based on the newspaper murder scene. I wanted to base my project on the dark undertones i saw through fashion week, my research delving into horror films, British serial killers and fashion editorials that glamourised murder. My final piece was a zine based on the infamous 70s serial killer Dennis Nielson, in the format of an awfully tacky 70s cookbook, as he known for styling the bodies around his apartment for weeks before butchering them.
